Demi Lovato’s “Confident” Sold 21.1K Copies Last Week; US Total Now 81.6K

In conjunction with another big jump at pop radio, Demi Lovato’s “Confident” posted an improved weekly sales total.

According to Nielsen Music, “Confident” sold 21,056 paid US downloads during the October 9-15 tracking week. That bests the previous week’s mark by 57%.

It also results in a cumulative US total of 81,630.

Benefiting from the ongoing airplay gain, the release of Lovato’s new album and exposure during this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” “Confident” will post a considerably greater sales total during the current (October 16-22) tracking week. That will thrust it comfortably past the 100,000 mark.
