Becky G’s “Break A Sweat” is on track to reach the Top 40 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.
The single received 897 pop plays during the first six days of the September 20-26 tracking week. Up 32.5% from the previous week’s spin count, the tally earns “Break A Sweat” the #39 position on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.
With only one day remaining in the official tracking week, Becky G’s song should have no trouble retaining its Top 40 position (it may get leapfrogged by Audien’s “Something Better,” but it should not slip below #40). It will thus become her third Top 40 pop hit as a lead artist.
Earlier singles “Shower” and “Can’t Stop Dancin'” went as high as #17 and #34, respectively.
Becky G will next be seen on Wednesday’s edition of “Empire.”
