Maroon 5’s “Feelings” Ranks as Hot AC’s Most Added; Rachel Platten, Andy Grammer Follow

Maroon 5 (NBC)

First announced as the band’s new single weeks ago, Maroon 5’s “Feelings” finally impacted the hot adult contemporary radio format this week.

It received a healthy dose of interest from the format’s programmers.

According to Mediabase, “Feelings” won adds from 33 monitored Hot AC stations this week. That count earns the single this week’s most-added distinction.

Rachel Platten’s new “Stand By You” was also on the map this week. The follow-up to Platten’s #1 Hot AC hit “Fight Song” received pickups from 23 monitored stations this week.

A total of 21 weekly adds earns Andy Grammer’s new “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” the format’s third-most-added honor. Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?,” Pentatonix’s “Can’t Sleep Love,” Rob Thomas’ “Hold On Forever,” and Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” follow in a four-way tie for fourth-most-added. Each received adds from 11 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations.

Other notable Hot AC options: Florence + The Machine’s “Ship To Wreck” (10 adds, 8th-most-added), Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That” (8 adds, 9th, tie), R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” (8 adds, 9th, tie).
