Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” Crosses the 1 Million Sales Mark

In conjunction with its ascent into the Top 5 at hot adult contemporary radio and Top 10 at pop radio, Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” also crossed an impressive sales checkpoint this past week.

The song, which is the second single from the band’s “American Beauty/American Psycho,” crossed the 1 million US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, “Uma Thurman” drove 41,184 paid downloads during the August 28-September 3 tracking week. That tally brought the song’s cumulative total to 1,001,070.

“Uma Thurman” had already been certified platinum thanks to its combined sales and streaming unit total.
