Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself,” Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” Reach Pop Radio’s Top 20

Two young Republic Records acts officially reach the Top 20 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Hailee Steinfeld does so courtesy her debut single “Love Myself.” The song, which is being supported by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, received ~4,802 plays during the August 23-29 tracking week (+812). The tally facilitates a four-position rise to #19 on the chart.

Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches,” meanwhile, enjoys a two-place boost to #20. It scored ~4,756 tracking week spins (+720).

“Stitches” is not Mendes’ first official single, but it is his first to gain notable traction at radio.

— While not new to the weekly Top 20, Flo Rida’s “I Don’t Like It, I Love It (featuring Robin Thicke & Verdine White)” re-enters that portion of the chart this week. Up three places, it grabs #18 on the latest listing.
