Little Mix’s “Black Magic” Ties “Wings”‘ Peak on Pop Radio Airplay Chart

Little Mix [FOX]

While it did not enjoy a significant week-over-week spin gain, Little Mix’s “Black Magic” still achieved a one position rise on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

In doing so — and rising to #24 — it tied the group’s previous career high mark on the chart.

That previous high came courtesy single “Wings,” which spent two weeks at #24 in May 2013.

For “Black Magic,” this week’s #24 position is attributable to the ~3,149 spins it received during the August 23-29 tracking week. The count bests last week’s spin total by 183 plays.

“Black Magic” has already surpassed the “Wings” peak on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100. It reached #68 on this past week’s chart; “Wings” peaked at #79.
