Hot 100: iHeartMemphis’ “Hit the Quan,” Eazy-E’s “Boyz-n-the-Hood” Debut in Top 50

A pair of songs – one new and one from 1987 – officially debut on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

iHeartMemphis’ “Hit the Quan,” the former, begins its Hot 100 run at #41.

In conjunction with that arrival on the all-encompassing chart, it starts at #19 on the Streaming Songs subchart. It slips to #47 (-2) on Digital Songs.

The late Eazy-E’s “Boyz-n-the-Hood” also starts within the Top 50. Fueled by the release of the “Straight Outta Compton” movie, the hip-hop classic makes its Hot 100 debut at #50.

It also claims #22 on Digital Songs (and ranks as the highest-charting debut) and #39 on Streaming Songs.
