Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” Goes Top 10 at Hot AC; OMI, Rob Thomas Reach Top 15

Still on the move at pop (#17) and adult contemporary (#20) radio, Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” continues to make its loudest chart noise at hot adult contemporary.

Up three places, it reaches a new peak of #8 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC chart.

The song’s inaugural Top 10 position comes courtesy the 3,827 plays (+368) spins it received during the July 5-11 tracking week. It follows “Sing,” “Don’t” and “Thinking Out Loud” as the fourth “x” single–in four tries–to reach the Hot AC format’s Top 10.

— While not yet at the Top 10, two songs enter the format’s Top 15 this week. OMI’s “Cheerleader,” the higher-charting of the two, enjoys a three place lift to #14. It received 2,159 spins during the aforementioned tracking period (+421).

Rob Thomas’ new “Trust You” also joins the Top 15 this week. Up one place, it grabs #15 on the strength of its 2,091 tracking week spins (+209).
