Ratings: FOX’s “Wayward Pines” Holds in Demo, Falls in Viewership

After giving viewers an extra week to process “The Truth” (and to watch golf coverage in the show’s usual timeslot), FOX’s “Wayward Pines” returned with an original installment Thursday.

Per fast national data, it held steady in the adults 18-49 demographic but suffered a sizable hit in total viewership.

Thursday’s “Wayward” drew a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating with 3.36 million total viewers. The previous installment scored the same 1.2 but reached a total audience of 4.24 million.

The transformed skew may be attributable to the show’s lead-in. Whereas the previous “Wayward Pines” aired out of a “Bones” episode that drew 5.11 million viewers (and a 1.2 rating), this week’s edition followed the premiere of “Boom!”

It posted a 0.9 with 2.510 million total viewers.
