Ratings: “Under the Dome” Premiere Crashes, Hits Viewership Low

Down markedly from last season’s premiere, Thursday’s “Under the Dome” was the series’ least-watched episode on record.

Per fast national data, the two-hour season three opener posted a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 6.430 million total viewers from 9-10PM and a 1.2 with 5.941 million from 10-11PM.

The average viewership of 6.186 million is the lowest figure ever posted by “Under the Dome.”

Last season’s premiere drew a 2.1 rating with 9.41 million viewers. The season finale was good for a 1.8 with 7.52 million.

CBS led into “Under the Dome” with “Big Brother” (2.0, 6.409 million).
