Cut from her new album “Breathe In. Breathe Out.,” Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” is one of five new additions to the top 50 at hot adult contemporary radio.
It follows Imagine Dragons’ #38 “Shots” as the second-highest-charting.
Up eight places, “Sparks” grabs #44 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. It received 237 spins (+37) during the June 17-23 tracking week.
The aforementioned “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” makes its US debut this week.
Also new to the Top 50 is Jakubi’s “Coach Potato.” The group’s inaugural US radio effort rises eleven places to a new high of #48 on the Mediabase Hot AC chart. It received 168 tracking week spins (+39).
X Ambassadors’ “Renegades,” which is the new #1 song at alternative, is new to the Top 50 at Hot AC. Up seven places, it grabs #49 on the strength of its 159 tracking week spins (+12).
Plain White T’s’ “Pause,” which received 151 weekly spins (+3), claims the last available Top 50 slot. It rises four places to a new peak of #50.
