Pia Mia’s “Do It Again” Reaches the Top 40 at Rhythmic Radio

Last week, Pia Mia’s “Do It Again (featuring Chris Brown and Tyga)” reached the Top 40 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs chart.

This week, it achieves the same feat on the corresponding Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

Spun 807 times during the May 17-23 tracking week, “Do it Again” rises nine places to a new peak of #34. In doing so, it becomes Pia Mia’s first Top 40 entry on any Mediabase airplay chart.

Pia Mia’s first official single for Interscope, “Do it Again” is currently being supported by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program. In addition to branding support across iHeart’s digital channels, the program also provides “Do it Again” with guaranteed airplay on its numerous rhythmic radio stations.

While not the only source of airplay for “Do it Again,” the “On the Verge” program has played a pivotal role in the song’s early rise.

Previous rhythmic “On the Verge” songs include Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” and Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” The former reached #1 on the format’s airplay chart.

— Other additions to the rhythmic Top 40 include Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” (#31, 818 spins) and Silento’s “Watch Me” (#38, 532 spins).
