Hunter Hayes’ “21” Announced as New Single; Song Arrives on May 21

Over the past week, Hunter Hayes and label Atlantic have been coyly teasing an announcement related to his new single.

An advertisement in Monday’s edition of Country Aircheck Weekly finally offers an explicit confirmation.

Hunter Hayes’ new single is “21,” and it will be sent to country radio this week.

According to the full-page advertisement, the new Hunter Hayes single will, fittingly, be serviced to country radio on the morning of May 21. While it will be available for airplay at that moment, its official impact date is listed as June 8.

Hayes has recently been playing “21” in his live shows. Neither he nor the label has made any statement regarding an upcoming album release.
