Pia Mia’s “Do It Again” Scores iHeartRadio “On the Verge” Boost at Rhythmic Radio

Pia Mia’s “Do It Again (featuring Chris Brown and Tyga)” is iHeartRadio’s new “On the Verge” song at rhythmic radio.

The corresponding push, which includes guaranteed airplay from iHeartMedia’s rhythmic radio stations, is officially live as of Monday, May 11.

While Pia Mia’s previous music has generated millions of views on YouTube, the Interscope-backed “Do it Again” represents her first official radio single. Whatever airplay success it has will therefore produce new milestones for the young artist.

Per Interscope, it has garnered early action from Los Angeles’ Power 106 and Boston’s JAM’N 94.5. Its iHeartMedia support will start to emerge this week, and it will formally impact the rhythmic format on May 19.

“Do It Again” takes over for Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink),” which received support from the “On the Verge” program in March and April. Prior to that, “On the Verge” helped Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” rocket up the rhythmic airplay chart. It eventually became a multi-week #1.
