Ratings: Syfy’s “12 Monkeys” Improves in Demo But Falls to Viewership Low

While Friday’s edition of “12 Monkeys” enjoyed a slight week-over-week increase in the adults 18-49 demographic, it suffered a decrease in total viewership.

That decrease produced a series low audience mark for the freshman drama.

Friday’s episode, which was the first season’s penultimate installment, drew a 0.20 adults 18-49 rating with 580,000 viewers. The rating narrowly bests the 0.19 posted by last week’s telecast, but the viewership mark considerably trails that episode’s 677,000.

It also trails the 664,000 garnered by the February 13 edition. That previously represented a series low.

Despite consistently failing to deliver strong live+same-day ratings, “12 Monkeys” has been renewed for a second season.

“Helix,” which led out of “Monkeys,” drew a 0.16 rating with 540,000 viewers. Both numbers best those of last week, which drew a 0.15 with 540,000.
