Ellie Goulding’s discography now includes two top ten hits.
Following in the footsteps of 2011/2012 single “Lights,” Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” officially enters the top ten of Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100.
Up five places this week, the song grabs the #9 position. In doing so, it establishes itself as the second-highest-charting effort of Goulding’s career.
Only the aforementioned “Lights,” which peaked at #2, went higher on the chart.
“Love Me Like You Do,” which comes from the “50 Shades of Grey” soundtrack, owes this week’s Hot 100 rise to gains in sales (115,000 weekly downloads, +12%), streaming (5.7 million, +43%) and airplay (32 million audience impressions, +26%).
