Powered by what is thus far 2015’s strongest weekly sales figure, Fall Out Boy’s “American Beauty/American Psycho” debuts at #1 on the weekly album sales chart.

The album moved approximately 204,063 copies in its first week of release, says Hits Daily Double. Nearly 100,000 of those purchases were secured during the album’s pre-order phase.

Billboard’s final data will differ slightly from that reported by Hits, but it will not convey a different result. Fall Out Boy’s “American Beauty/American Psycho” was indeed last week’s best-selling album.

It will also be the #1 album on the revamped Billboard 200, which represents total consumption. With sales, track equivalent albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and streaming equivalent albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) all included, “American Beauty/American Psycho” claims a weekly total of roughly 227,348 total consumption units.

Taylor Swift’s “1989” (~81,471 pure sales, ~116,891 total consumption units) and Meghan Trainor’s “Title” (~53,326 pure sales, ~85,619 total consumption units) are likely to appear as the #2 and #3 albums, respectively, on Billboard’s Top Album Sales and 200 charts.

Look for Joey Bada$$’ “B4.DA.$$,” (~50,956 pure sales), Marilyn Manson’s “The Pale Emperor” (~46,410 pure sales) and the Grammy nominees album (~46,365 pure sales) to fill the next three spots on the total album sales chart. “B4.DA.$$” (~54,956 total consumption units), Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” (~51,241 total consumption units) and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Special” (~49,894 total consumption units) will rank highly on the revamped Billboard 200.
