Halestorm’s “Apocalyptic” Ranks as Rock Radio’s Most-Added Song

Indicated by its Top 25 debut on the Mediabase active rock airplay chart and Top 20 debut on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart, Halestorm’s new “Apocalyptic” got off to a hot start.

Mediabase’s weekly active rock add board gives reason to believe the song will not soon fade away.

For the second consecutive week, the Halestorm track ranks as the active rock format’s most-added song. After landing at 22 monitored stations last week, “Apocalyptic” scored an even more impressive 25 adds this time.

No other song won half as much weekly support from radio programmers.

All That Remains’ “This Probably Won’t End Well” and The Black Keys’ “Weight of Love,” which tie for second-most-added, do so on the strength of ten adds each. Kid Rock’s “First Kiss” follows with 9 adds, while Bring Me the Horizon’s “Drown,” Islander’s “New Wave” and Marilyn Manson’s “Deep Six” share the week’s fifth-most-added distinction. Each won support from five stations this week.

“Apocalyptic” is the lead single from the band’s forthcoming “Into the Wild Life.”
