Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” is Now One of Pop’s 30 Most-Played

Already a bigger pop radio hit than predecessor “BO$$,” Fifth Harmony’s new single “Sledgehammer” continues working its way up the chart.

According to Mediabase, the song was the format’s 30th-most-played song during the week between November 27 and December 3. It commanded 2,142 spins within that window, which represents a gain of 495 over the prior week’s count.

To formally cement its status as a top 30 hit, the song will need to retain its position through Sunday’s official chart update. Insofar as it continues to rise–and is not coming under immediate fire from any song beneath the Top 30–it should have no trouble doing so.

“Sledgehammer,” which debuts at #93 on this week’s Hot 100, received 8.05 million audience impressions during the aforementioned seven day period. That ranks as the format’s 33rd-largest.
