Benefiting from storyline intrigue and a boost from another comparatively strong “Faking It” episode, Tuesday’s “Happyland” season finale garnered an improved audience total.
The episode, which matched last week’s 0.17 adults 18-49 rating, drew 399,000 viewers. Up 15% from last week’s total, the count represents the fourth-largest audience count achieved this season. Eight episodes aired in all.
Of undeniable assistance was lead-in “Faking It.” Up to a 0.41 adults 18-49 rating (from a 0.36) but down to a viewership average of 845,000 (from 912,000), the episode nonetheless provided more lead-in support than the majority of pre-“Happyland” airings.
And it did so with weakened lead-in support of its own. The November 18 edition of “Awkward” delivered a reduced 0.45 adults 18-49 rating and deflated viewership average of 911,000. Last week’s installment drew a 0.51 with 1.268 million viewers.
