Last year, episode three of FX’s “American Horror Story: Coven” endured a 16% week-over-week drop in the adults 18-49 demographic.
This year, the third “American Horror Story: Freak Show” episode fell by only 4%.
Coming on the heels of a massive 26% post-premiere drop, “Freak Show” held admirably in steady in week three — even as newfound competition from the MLB World Series entered the mix.
After posting a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating with 4.52 million viewers last week, “Freak Show” this week drew a 2.2 rating with 4.44 million viewers.
For the third consecutive week, it reigned as cable’s number one program for the evening.
