Nickelback’s “Edge of a Revolution” Retains #1 Spot at Rock

There is no revolution on this week’s active rock radio chart. Nickelback’s latest rock single “Edge of a Revolution” spends a consecutive week in the format’s top position.

According to Mediabase, “Edge” claims the #1 position on the strength of 1,637 spins during the October 12-18 tracking week. Despite being the lowest recorded by a chart-topping active rock song in several weeks, the song’s 3.89 million audience impression count is also the format’s largest this week.

From an airplay standpoint, Slash’s “World on Fire” holds at the #2 position with 1,390 spins.

Other top five rock songs include Slipknot’s “The Devil in I” (#3), KoRn’s “Hater” (#4) and Five Finger Death Punch’s “Wrong Side of Heaven” (#5).
