The recipient of 6,228 Hot AC spins between September 19 and 25, “Shake” jumps to number one on Mediabase’s rolling Hot AC chart. Rising as Maroon 5’s #2 “Maps” is falling, the Swift song will endure no trouble retaining the throne through Sunday, when Mediabase issues its official weekly airplay chart.
Also the format’s audience leader, “Shake it Off” earned 42.01 million Hot AC impressions within the aforementioned seven day window.
A multi-format hit, “Shake it Off” is currently #2 at pop, #9 at adult contemporary and #26 at rhythmic.
