Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, Mary Lambert Rocket into Top 40

Still ruled by Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap,” the pop radio airplay was not without its share of changes.

Notably, a whopping five songs hopped into the top forty of Mediabase’s official airplay chart, which was published Sunday evening.

Calvin Harris’ “Blame (featuring John Newman),” the highest-charting of the four, rockets into the Top 40 at #31. The song garnered 1,258 spins during the September 7-13 tracking period.

Nick Jonas’ “Jealous,” which ranked as the pop radio format’s most-added song this week, also enters the chart at an impressive position. On the strength of its 1,001 weekly spins, “Jealous” lands at #37 on the official airplay chart.

Childish Gambino’s crossover effort “3005” enters at #38, while Mary Lambert’s established Hot AC hit “Secrets” ascends four spots to #39 this week.

Bebe Rexha’s “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You,” which ranked at #41 on last week’s official chart, claims the #40 position this week.

Songs making waves beneath the Top 40 include Alesso’s “Heroes (featuring Tove Lo),” which rises thirteen places to #41, Hilary Duff’s “All About You” (#43, +4) and Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” (#46, +6).
