Three songs that enjoyed gains on this week’s Hot 100 also improve their positions on the official Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
Echosmith’s “Cool Kids,” Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” and Katy Perry’s “This is How We Do” all reach the Top 15 on the latest chart, which measures airplay between September 7 and 13.
“Cool Kids,” which enjoyed a week-over-week spin gain of 573, rises four places to #13 this week. A multi-format hit, the song is also positioned at #11 on the hot adult contemporary chart, #37 on the adult contemporary chart and #40 on the alternative chart.
“Habits,” which was last month’s iHeartRadio “On the Verge” selection at pop, rises four places to #14. Its week-over-week spin gain was 688.
Katy Perry’s “This is How We Do,” which reached #20 last week, rises to #15 on this week’s chart.
