When it comes to 5 Seconds of Summer’s self-titled debut, the sum of the parts and the parts themselves are proving to be very lucrative.
According to Hits Daily Double, the album, which holds the #1 and #7 positions on iTunes (for the deluxe and standard editions), is due to move 250-275,000 units in its first week. It will easily debut at number one on the Billboard 200 sales chart.
All sixteen tracks from the deluxe edition are also resonating with music buyers. As of press time, which comes 26 hours after the album arrived at digital retailers, every track is positioned in the Top 200 on iTunes’ overall single sales chart.
Debut US single “She Looks So Perfect,” which peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year, leads the way at #26 on iTunes. Current single “Amnesia,” which earned most-added honors at pop radio this week, follows at #42.
“Voodoo Doll” (#60), “Heartbreak Girl” (#79), “Social Casualty” (#88), “Never Be” (#90), “Greenlight” (#99) and “Everything I Didn’t Say” (#100) are also positioned prominently on the iTunes sales chart.
The rest of the tracks are ranked as follows:
