Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora’s “Black Widow” Goes Top 40 at Pop Radio

Who needs to wait for the official impact date?

Thanks to an abundance of early support from pop radio, Iggy Azalea’s new “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” has already entered the Top 40 on Mediabase’s rolling airplay chart.

According to Mediabase, the song, which does not formally impact the format until July 8, was pop’s 38th-most-played for the seven days ending July 4.

Already supported by large market stations, the “Fancy” follow-up garnered an impressive 7.43 million pre-impact audience impressions over the measured period. That total ranks at #31 on the pop format.

“Black Widow” becomes Azalea’s third current Top 40 hit at pop radio. The rap-pop sensation also appears in the top 40 via Ariana Grande’s #1 song “Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea)” and on her own “Fancy (featuring Charli XCX),” which is currently #3.

Rita Ora is also represented by her own “I Will Never Let You Down.” The track is #31 on the latest edition of the rolling airplay chart.
