After weeks of sluggish ratings, The CW’s once powerful combination of “The Originals” and “Supernatural” came back to life Tuesday.
Up a strong 33% in the young adults demographic, “The Originals” delivered a healthy 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 1.77 million viewers.
Per a CW press release, the episode’s viewership number was its best since March 11. It also enjoyed significant gains in adults 18-34 (up 17% to a 0.7) and women 18-34 (up 43% to a 1.0) from its previous broadcast.
Tuesday’s “Supernatural,” which was the pilot for the potential “Bloodlines” spin-off, also delivered big numbers. While even with last week’s showing in total viewers (2.03 million), it enjoyed gains in adults 18-49 (up 11% to a 1.0), adults 18-34 (up 13% to a 0.9) and women 18-34 (up 11% to a 1.0).
