Playing to the same sensitive, pop-rock sensibility as smash “Story of My Life,” One Direction’s “You & I” is officially ready to make its climb.
The official music video (above) was released Friday, and the song will formally impact American Top 40 radio during the week of April 21.
Written by Julian Bunetta, John Ryan and Jamie Scott, who also collaborated on “Story,” the ballad represents the boy band’s effort to score a third top ten single from album “Midnight Memories.”
The album’s previous Hot 100 top tens include the aforementioned “Story of My Life” (#6) and lead single “Best Song Ever” (#2).
