“All of Me” Becomes John Legend’s Biggest Career Hit

John Legend’s critically acclaimed performance at the 56th Grammy Awards Ceremony did more than simply return his name to the forefront of popular music.

It also helped “All of Me” become the best-charting song of his career.

Up to number seventeen on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week, “All of Me” has officially moved past Legend’s breakthrough single “Ordinary People,” which reached number twenty four on the chart in 2005.

2008’s “Green Light” also peaked at number 24.

Along with the Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar collaboration, Legend’s intimate rendition of “All of Me” was considered one of the two best performances at the January 26 Grammy ceremony.

Legend’s stands alone, however, when judged in terms of post-show commercial performance. At press time, “All of Me” remained one of the top ten singles on the definitive iTunes sales chart.
