Amanda Bynes’ string of controversy continues. Weeks after making waves with bizarre Twitter posts, the one-time Nickelodeon standout was reportedly arrested for marijuana possession.
According to TMZ, New York City police were called to Bynes’ apartment building after a building official spotted her in the lobby with a joint. Bynes was in her apartment by the time officers arrived, and she apparently complied with letting them into her place.
During their investigation, officers reportedly spotted a bong in her apartment, which the “All That” actress allegedly tossed out her window.
At that point, she was arrested. Bynes, who sources say was acting very erratically, was reportedly given a psychiatric evaluation before being booked for criminal possession of marijuana, reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence.
