ABC Keeps “Nashville,” Orders “Agents of SHIELD,” “Once Upon a Time” Spin-Off

NBC’s musical drama “Smash” will bite the dust at the end of the season, but ABC is not ready to give up on its own musical series. Country music-backed soap “Nashville,” which has delivered underwhelming ratings throughout its first season, will be back for a second.

Joining “Nashville” on next year’s ABC roster will be a number of new series, including dramas “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” “Lucky 7,” “Betrayal,” “Mind Games,” “Killer Woman,” “Resurrection” and “Once Upon a Time” spin-off “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.”

On the comedy front, ABC is supporting “Super Fun Night,” “Back in the Game,” “Trophy Wife,” “The Goldbergs” and “Mixology.”
