Twitter has become as much an avenue for wrestlers to work angles as it is for them to provide fans’ with a glimpse into the reality of the WWE lifestyle. Virtually all Tweets from past and current superstars need to be viewed through this “pro wrestling” lens.
But, for whatever it is worth, former WWE standout Chris Jericho ripped CM Punk to task over his promo on RAW.
“Everyone is so excited that @CMPunk mentioned me on Raw. Newsflash…I don’t give a shit. Mind ur own business and stop rippin me off Punk,” Tweeted Jericho.
During his promo on RAW, Punk listed Jericho (along with Batista, Mick Foley and Brock Lesnar) as an example of someone WWE let slip through its fingers due to Vince McMahon’s questionable management choices.
