WGN confirmed Thursday that its weekly WWE Superstars telecast has been cancelled. Far from a promotional priority for WWE, the weekly C-show was similarly not a ratings smash, and the news of its demise is not entirely shocking.
The final episode will air April 7.

Multiple sources, including the Wrestling Observer, confirm that Jericho’s appearance will come in the form of a video package hyping the Triple H vs. The Undertaker match. Names like Steve Austin and Jim Ross were also reportedly interviewed for the segment.
