Hyping its upcoming “Tribute to the Troops” special, WWE announced Wednesday that Diddy-Dirty Money, Ariel Winter and Cedric the Entertainer are among the celebrities set to attend the event at Fort Hood in Texas.
Sherri Shepherd and Miss USA Rima Fakih had already been confirmed for the program.
For the first time since its inception, WWE’s annual holiday armed forced tribute will take place on American soil. The special will be taping for a broadcast on NBC, set to air at 9PM EST on December 18.
Diddy-Dirty Money will perform “Coming Home” in front of the members of the armed forces, while “Modern Family” child actress Ariel Winter, who also stars in WWE’s upcoming film “The Chaperone,” will sing the National Anthem. Cedric the Entertainer will “bring his award-winning brand of comedy to the special.”
WWE’s press release highlighted John Cena (apparently not Juan Cena), Randy Orton, The Miz, Rey Mysterio and The Big Show as confirmed wrestler participants.
