Critics deemed the prior few episodes of NBC’s “The Office” signs of a creative slump, but the ratings remain fairly steady. Thursday’s “WUPHF.com” episode, which received markedly better reviews, dipped only slightly from the prior week’s heavily-hyped “Viewing Party” for a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Viewership for the episode came in at 7.24 million.
Leading out of “The Office” was “Outsourced,” which fell by the same adults 18-49 tenth to a 2.7. The freshman comedy, which moves to 10:30PM in January, averaged 5.49 million viewers.
Earlier in the evening, NBC’s low-rated, critically-acclaimed tandem of “Community” and “30 Rock” landed in fourth place for the 8PM hour. “Community” was good for a mere 1.9 rating and 4.40 million viewers, while “Rock,” soon to move to 10PM, scored a 2.3 and 5.16 million.
“The Apprentice,” as usual, was a dud with a 1.2 and 3.57 million viewers.

With NBC’s “The Office” in its usual territory, usual Thursday leaders “The Big Bang Theory” and “Grey’s Anatomy” shared the nightly crown. “The Big Bang Theory” opened CBS’ evening with a 4.3 and 13.1 million viewers, while “Grey’s Anatomy” offered ABC a 4.3 with 11.40 million viewers at 9PM.
Also on CBS: “$#*! My Dad Says” (10.28 million, 3.1), “CSI” (14.16 million, 3.1) and “The Mentalist” (14.66 million, 3.0)
Also on ABC: “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (7.44 million, 2.2) and “Private Practice” (8.10 million, 2.9)
FOX offered its combination of reliable “Bones” (9.41 million, 2.7) and struggling “Fringe” (4.93 million, 1.9).
