“Conan” Premiere Ratings Solid, Scores with Young Viewers

The premiere of “Conan” on TBS was far from a true television ‘event,’ but it did bring millions of eyeballs, many of which belong to young adult viewers, to the cable station.

Monday’s episode garnered an average of 4.2 million viewers, 3.3 million of whom fell into the adults 18-49 demographic. The show had 2.5 million viewers in the 18-34 demo.

Though the show’s ratings will undoubtedly fall as time goes on, it is hard to do anything but celebrate when a late night show scores so well with young adults.
