WWE RAW Ratings Surge For John Cena in Nexus, Hell in a Cell Fallout

No records were set with the viewership count for this week’s WWE RAW, but WWE successfully bucked its downward ratings trend and posted a solid number.

With interest fueled by the fallout from WWE Hell in a Cell, particularly related to John Cena joining Nexus, RAW moved up to a 3.3 rating. Total viewership averaged out to 4.783 million, an increase of about one million from last week’s show.

Among adults 18-49, the show posted a 1.8 rating, marking a 29% improvement in the coveted young adults demographic.

— It is, of course, worth noting that the competition from Monday Night Football was down significantly from last week’s number; it averaged 13.971 million viewers and a 5.6 adults 18-49 rating, as compared with 17.454 million and a 7.2 last week.
