— With previous choice Tim Urban now eliminated from the competition, “American Idol”-themed website Vote for the Worst has selected Siobhan Magnus as the “worst” of the remaining six contestants. The website, which rose to prominence several years ago but has since declined significantly in relevance, positions itself as an effort to counter the “pimping” of certain ‘frontrunner’ contestants by “American Idol” producers and judges.
Siobhan, who many would argue is not technically the worst of the top six (many online critics would actually rank her with Crystal Bowersox at the top of the heap), was selected because ‘worsters’ look forward to “[her] screeching, talking back to the judges in the slowest possible manner, strange outfits, and bipolar antics.” The website added, “She’s clearly one of the worst singers and she does the #1 thing that a VFTW pick has to do: entertain.”
— FOX officially confirmed that Lady Antebellum and the Rascal Flatts will perform on Wednesday’s “American Idol” results show, in conjunction with the week’s “Shania Twain Songbook” theme. Though not mentioned in the press release, Shakira, as per her official website, is also apparently slated to perform.
The judges will trash her and she will indirectly prove them wrong. AGAIN!
It would be fitting to end Simon Cowell’s final season with egg on his face i.e. Crystal losing and Siobhan winning!
She is the only reason I am watching the show this year. Go Siobhan!

GO SIOBHAN… Apparently the judges already pre-selected whose going to the finals!!!! so help Siobhan prove them wrong!!!!
she,even at her worst,still would be better than all the others,except crystal,and lee.this girl has some serious vocals.of course simon,and kara seem to think otherwise.
The judges are way off-base on Siobhan. She has the great vocals, the style and stage presence for a solid career as a performer and recording artist, and I look forward to getting her CD’s.
Siobhan is so very talented. This is the first time I have seen someone respond to the judges and actually watch the judges look like the are questioning themselves! I really think she and Crystal will end up the final two contestants. Lee has improved but stage prescence is very important and he lacks that. Siobhan can sing many styles and the judges want her singing one style in order to label her and that is not necessary in order to be a rock artist or alternative artist.. Shame on them, they should know this. Everyone should vote with their heart!

on Siobhan’s awesome talent and the
ignorance of the judges, who obviously
have a hidden agenda, in lauding
Crystal, a common dime-a-dozen singer,
and wrongly and mistakenly criticizing
Siobhan, who is like Adam, unique,
versatile, resonant, (not nasal,
as the idiots say)
and who has stage presence, star
quality, and will be a super star
in her own right, and in her own time.
No matter what happens in the finale,
and if the “commoner” wins,
it will be like Kris Allen and Adam L.
all over again.. deja’ vu….
Adam is a star and you rarely see Kris A.
As for the judges, there is something
very, very rotten in the state of
American Idol, when judges don’t
judge fairly and who can’t tell that
singers are allowed to give a story
in a song, slow introduction, reaching
a climax as the story progresses.. that is what they disliked in “Suspicious Minds”
and they were way out of their league in trying to ‘label’ a songstress. Try
labeling Barbra Streisand or Celine Dion.. or Josh Groban.. they are all versatile and do NOT sing the same type of song consistently. Why should a singer do that, anyhow? Singing is singing a song according to its theme.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again..
Siobhan is a gem amongst plastic baubles.
If only Simon had panned maybe 1/2 of Siobhan’s performances he would have been believable. But at this point he’s panned 9 of 10. He’s only really 1/2 praised Siobhan one time! Even Tim got more praise than Siobhan did! I think a lot of people know Simon has an agenda to promote Crystal.
Siobhan is a fantastic singer! With the exception of one night where she was upset and had an off night, she’s incredible. And she’s everything an idol should be. She has a great range, is in key, has a clear as a bell, beautiful voice that can croon softly, or turn into a power house to belt the song out. Note, Simon calls that “screaming” because he knows how many idiots are out there that will follow him like sheep in a herd.. And when Siobhan sings a smooth song, he criticizes her butteries on her outfit! Then Kara his “mini-me” sidekick copies his sentiments.
Siobhan also works hard to keep things interesting by making songs her own, taking risks. That is everything idols have been praised for in the past.
I like Crystal as a singer and as a trained musician can hear how good she is, however if you really think about it, she has a limited range, not much stage presence, sounds too much the same week after week and never takes any big risks or makes changes. Especially not with her vocals. I think Crystal is a worthy winner, but I also think Siobhan is and is a little bit better of a singer.
But the show, Simon, news media and so on keep portraying Crystal as the winner. In fact they have been doing this BEFORE the top 12 was even heard on idol. IN other words, they are making it happen. I mean, what would happen if Simon had bashed Crystal? Think it couldn’t happen? He could easily pick on the fact that she was playing it too safe, needed to make changes, forgot her words one week, and that her style was dated.
If you think that way, it becomes even more easy to see that Simon can easily pick on anyone he chooses to. Or praise anyone with extra praise. Finally did you see the show last week? Did you notice Crystal got the pimp spots? No one can force a viewer to vote for her, true. But believe it or not that show is slowly change how the audience feels. And hey, Crystal is a good pick for winner, but she is NOT the only one there that could be a good winner! That said, the show stinks for that reason.
Siobhan is the best she can sing. Simon and the other judges as in years past have chosen their favorites being Crystal and Big Mike. But the final voting will be left to the public. The people who listen to the music and buy records. Siobhan Magnus and Lee Dewyze will be the top two. If you listen to the songs over and over they have preformed as well as the other performers. Theirs keeps you coming back and listening over and over again. Just like David Cook and Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Siobhan you keep being yourself. I agree don’t let them label you. You are awsome
