News broke Thursday of two pilot castings for upcoming projects at CBS and The CW.
CBS’ project, the untitled medical drama from John Wells, booked network favorite Skeet Ulrich as one of its male leads. In the hourlong about a mobile medical team that treats patients in life-or-death crises, Ulrich plays a brilliant, Harvard-educated cardiologist who embraces his job as an escape from his troubled social life. Ulrich’s character still loves his ex wife, who has hopelessly faded into drug addiction. The couple has a young daughter.
Over on The CW, “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale will co-star as the cheerleading captain on “Hellcats.” Series star Aly Michalka plays Marti, a wrong-side-of-the-tracks college girl who, after losing her scholarship due to budget problems and an issue with her irresponsible mother (Gail O’Grady), joins the college cheerleading team. Tisdale plays the intense captain who believes Marti is their shot at winning the championship.
I am thrilled to hear that Skeet Ulrich will be on our tv screens again!
If they are smart, the producers of Hellcats will find a responsible, professional actress to replace Gail O”Grady. O’Grady is a manipulative false assuser who committed perjury in court. Making up sick stories of being stalked and using her innocent son as a prop for a gross heinous publicity stunt. Welling, you can find someone else better than that. O’Grady needs medical help not a tv show basically portraying herself.
It will be wonderful to have Skeet again with us. I wish him a long and successful run.
I’m thrilled that Skeet will be on tv again. CBS better pick up his pilot. Its been tough not having my weekly Skeet fix.
Skeet Ulrich is so talented and we see too little of him. He would make any show he was in if they write good material for him. I’m excited to say the least.
