The term “Monday Night War” just has no place in the wrestling world these days.
WWE RAW absolutely dominated TNA iMPACT! in the ratings this week, scoring a 3.71 to TNA’s 0.84. Among total viewers, RAW averaged 5.6 million, compared with 1.07 million for iMPACT.
While the basic household numbers speak for themselves, TNA’s worst news was embedded in the quarter hours. Notably, the show’s main event of Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles scored the night’s worst viewership, finishing the 10PM hour with a 0.72 and then slightly jumping to a 0.74 for the overrun.
WWE’s Bret Hart-Vince McMahon contract signing clearly took a significant bite out of TNA’s audience.
Because TNA is totally going to be giving WWE serious competition right after switching to Mondays, right?
Obviously it’s going to take a while to establish their show on Mondays you moron. I like how you’re reporting RAW beating iMPACT in the ratings like it’s actually news or something. “This just in! Water is wet!”
TNA had the less boring show and that’s what matters. Lots of little elementary school kids and women like WWE, so WWE is going to be on top for a while.
What are you talking about you retarted piece of crap?! TNA sucked! The most exciting thing they even had was Jeff returning, the rest was just crap! Did you even watch RAW? I watched both, and RAW was way better. You just need to accept that even with TNA’s desperated attempt to boost ratings by adding Hulk Hogan, they still are and forever will be a second rate brand.
Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot about this, such as you wrote the book in it or something. I believe that you simply can do with a few % to force the message home a bit, however instead of that, this is wonderful blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
