WWE Confirms Several New Pay-Per-Views

WWE wasted no time following through on its plans to overhaul its pay-per-view calendar, confirming that a number of new shows will be added to the mix.

As part of the strategy to replace all ‘B-shows’ with gimmick-themed events, the company unveiled three new concepts this week (and some other scheduling changes), taking WWE through September on its calendar.

WWE’s Q2-Q3 schedule will look as follows:
April 2010 – Extreme Rules (moves from the summer to replace WWE Backlash)
May 2010 – Wild Card (presumably WWE’s take on the “Battle Bowl” event, replaces Judgment Day)
June 2010 – Fatal Four Way (replaces WWE’s The Bash)

July 2010 – Money in the Bank (sends WWE’s Night of Champions to September)
August 2010 – Summerslam
September 2010 – Night of Champions (moves from the summer to replace Breaking Point)
