According to correspondent reports from Chicago, former RAW general manager Mike Adamle recently confirmed that he would be hosting the Las Vegas edition of RAW on August 24.
WWE sources have yet to confirm the story, however, with a PWInsider.com report claiming that Floyd Mayweather’s name has also been thrown around as a guest host for the show.
A past WrestleMania headliner, professional boxer Mayweather has a fight coming up in September. He is also no stranger to Las Vegas, so his presence on the show would seem more logical, given the region, than an appearance from a Chicago sports anchor.
At the same time, as far as official confirmation goes, Adamle’s name is the closest one gets–he apparently offered personal confirmation that he was appearing on the show. The Mayweather name is only rumored at press time.
