When the company opted against that match, instead moving towards Randy Orton vs. Cena, it kept the spot in, allowing Orton to retain the belt while still giving the two face wrestlers a chance to display their prowess.
— As most have guessed, the plan is for Shawn Michaels to return as Triple H’s partner in the current feud with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase (building to a Summerslam match). There has been no confirmation–or even indication–that they will perform with the DX gimmick on television, but there had been talk of the two working as a reunited DX at house shows later in the year.

I honestly think that with the way things are going in terms of staleness, and boredom, I am definately glad to see the “guest hosts”, and cant wait to see who they drag in, in the coming monthes, as for more excitement within wrestlers, we may not have the rock, we may not have stone cold (both as recurring guest hosts btw… WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE – I said recurring!), I think the hardys as a tag should happen, but give one or the other a singles belt, so they can still seperate from monday to friday or whatever. DX needs a return, and it shouldnt just be a quick little *sell this merch* reunion, it should see them win the belts, maybe train someone new by bringing them in to the new DX, allowing Micheals to step back if that is what is needed. We need more factions training the young blood and helping them get the crowd to believe we see the future instead of the “right nows”. The future of wrestling is in jeopardy with Vince being an idiot, and with TNA picking up his throw-aways. I cant fathom ever watching TNA, but there will be a big switch in the next 3-5 years when we lose the likes of Ric Flair for good, say goodbye to Shawn Micheals, HHH will be 45, so maybe we can see him fight like taker does now, speaking of which, I think Taker is gone soon too. We need fresh TALENT, hurry up Vince swallow your machismo attitude, and do us all a favor! Either stop being in charge and just be a face on Raw, or lose the firing attitude because someone “hits too hard and was sloppy!” <– wtf is that he was an amazing wrestler!
