Miley Cyrus Receives 5x Platinum Award For “We Can’t Stop,” 2x Platinum Honor For “Adore You”

January 26, 2018 brought a myriad of new RIAA certifications for Miley Cyrus.

The artist picked up awards for four songs from her 2013 album “Bangerz.” The album itself also picked up a new certification.

According to the RIAA, “We Can’t Stop” attained 5x platinum status on the aforementioned date. The award confirms 5 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Adore You” went 2x platinum (2 million units), while “FU” and “Do My Thang” each went gold (500,000).

The “Bangerz” album meanwhile went double-platinum, confirming 2 million in album units. Album units are equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.
