Ratings: “American Horror Story: Cult” Rises Slightly This Week

“Cult” enjoys its first week-over-week gain this season.

AHS: Cult | FX Networks

Tuesday’s “American Horror Story: Cult” drew a slightly larger live+same-day audience than last week’s episode.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “AHS” drew a 1.07 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.20 million overall viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.06 rating and 2.13 million.

While it was up in adults 18-49, “AHS” did cede its first place position among cable originals. The MLB Wild Card game between the Yankees and Twins drew a far-stronger 2.13 adults 18-49 rating.

Live+same-day viewership for the current “AHS” season is down from last year’s installment, but it remains strong by conventional cable standards.

FX, moreover, stresses that it focuses on time-delayed, multi-platform viewership rather than live+same-day TV numbers. “AHS” continues to be a particularly strong performer under that lens.
