Update: Ahead of the final “Scandal” season premiere, actress Kerry Washington stopped by “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

She joined host Colbert for a chat. At one point, the segment found Kerry Washington doing his makeup.

Wednesday’s “Colbert” also featured an interview with Russell Brand and a performance by St. Vincent.

ABC’s “Scandal” begins its final season Thursday night.

Wednesday night, star Kerry Washington hypes the new season with an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

Washington, who is making her third appearance on the program, joins host Stephen Colbert for an interview.

Russell Brand also appears for an interview, while St. Vincent closes the show with a musical performance.
