Like programmers at hot adult contemporary, pop and urban radio, those at the rhythmic format greeted The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” with a warm reception.

The impending smash was added by 61 Mediabase-monitored stations this week. The count easily positions “Starboy” as the week’s most added song.

Picked up by 15 stations, Rihanna’s new “Love On The Brain” takes second place. Kanye West’s “Fade” earns third-most added with 13 adds, while Mac Miller’s “Dang! (featuring Anderson .Paak)” lands in fourth on the strength of its 8 weekly pickups.

A weekly add count of 7 slots Calvin Harris’ “My Way” as fifth-most added.

Credited with 5 adds each, Ariana Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj),” Desiigner’s “Tiimmy Turner,” Post Malone’s “Deja Vu (featuring Justin Bieber),” Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles (featuring Gucci Mane),” and Young M.A’s “Ooouuu” tie for sixth-most added.
