Ratings: “Preacher” Season Finale Slips In Demo, Gains Viewers

The first season finale of AMC’s “Preacher” endured a slight week-to-week loss in adults 18-49 but enjoyed a gain in total viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.60 adults 18-49 rating and 1.72 million total viewers. Last week’s episode scored a slightly stronger 0.61 in the demo but drew a lesser viewership sum of 1.57 million.

In terms of total live+same-day viewership, Sunday’s “Preacher” was the most-watched episode since the June 12 broadcast.

“Preacher” has been renewed for a second season.
