Alternative radio programmers continue to rediscover — and embrace — Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream.”

Picked up by 12 Mediabase-monitored alternative stations, the song ranks as the format’s most added song this week.

Given a second life thanks to its inclusion in Honda’s “The Dreamer” commercial campaign, “Walking On A Dream” reached the Top 20 on last week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart. The latest round of support should enable it to continue its climb.

With 10 adds each, Bear Hands’ “2am” and The Lumineers’ “Ophelia” tie for second-most added. CHVRCHES’ “Clearest Blue” takes fourth with 9 adds, while Joywave’s “Destruction” earns fifth courtesy its 7 weekly pickups.

This week’s other notable alternative radio options: Atlas Genius’ “Stockholm” (6 adds, 6th), Catfish And The Bottlemen’s “Soundcheck” (5 adds, 7th, tie), Walk The Moon’s “Work This Body” (5 adds, 7th, tie), Declan McKenna’s “Brazil” (4 adds, 9th, tie), and The Joy Formidable’s “Last Thing On My Mind” (4 adds, 9th, tie).
